Bethesda Again Selected As One of Top 50 Businesses by RCGA


For the fourth consecutive year and the fifth time in the last six years, Bethesda has been selected by the St. Louis Regional Chamber & Growth Association (RCGA) as one of the “Top 50 Businesses Shaping Our Future” in the Greater St. Louis area.

According to the RCGA, the 50 organizations being honored “represent the best of what St. Louis has to offer, not only with their contributions to the region, but their positive impact on the business community and business success.”

Very few not-for-profits are selected by the RCGA for this award, and no other senior care and service organizations.

Bethesda, Alzheimer’s Association Partnering on New Community Education Program


Mark your calendars for the evening of Monday, March 19, as Bethesda and the Alzheimer’s Association – two renowned, respected organizations dedicated to the care of seniors – will partner on the first of what promises to be an outstanding series of educational sessions on addressing the needs of those living with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers, presented by nationally renowned experts in the field of Alzheimer's and dementia.

We are pleased to begin our Alzheimer's Family Education Series with Dr. Gary Small, an acclaimed gerontologist, psychiatrist and author, and the Director of the UCLA Longevity Center and the Division of Geriatric Psychiatry.

Dr. Small will be presenting "Alzheimer’s Disease – Will I Get It, Too?"

The presentation, which is free and open to the public, begins at 7 p.m. on the first floor of the Edward Jones building, 12555 Manchester Road. Free garage parking will be available.

Bethesda Now Accepting Coventry Insurance Plans


Effective Jan. 1, Bethesda began accepting all medical insurance coverage plans offered by Coventry Health Care of Missouri.

“Our continuing objective is to provide services and enter into partnerships that we believe will benefit our current residents as well as prospective residents and patients, and we believe that entering into a contract with Coventry achieves this objective,” said Tim Vosse, Bethesda's Corporate Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
