Mark your calendars for the evening of Monday, March 19, as Bethesda and the Alzheimer’s Association – two renowned, respected organizations dedicated to the care of seniors – will partner on the first of what promises to be an outstanding series of educational sessions on addressing the needs of those living with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers, presented by nationally renowned experts in the field of Alzheimer's and dementia. We are pleased to begin our Alzheimer's Family Education Series with Dr. Gary Small, an acclaimed gerontologist, psychiatrist and author, and the Director of the UCLA Longevity Center and the Division of Geriatric Psychiatry. Dr. Small will be presenting "Alzheimer’s Disease – Will I Get It, Too?" Effective Jan. 1, Bethesda began accepting all medical insurance coverage plans offered by Coventry Health Care of Missouri. “Our continuing objective is to provide services and enter into partnerships that we believe will benefit our current residents as well as prospective residents and patients, and we believe that entering into a contract with Coventry achieves this objective,” said Tim Vosse, Bethesda's Corporate Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
